The TEXAS-SOUTHWESTERN Club was organized by Dr. Sandy F. Ray in January, 1954.

Past Presidents

Mrs. Alberto Manley--period of office:1954-1961

Mrs. Minnie Dixon--period of office:1969-1970

Mrs. Lavinia Jones--period of office:1970-1975

Mrs. Clara Frances Charles--period of office:1975-1994

Mrs. Mareatha Moore--period of office:1994-present

Each president brought a special gift and experience to the club.

Purpose

To encourage members to become more involved in the church, to establish a good member-to-member relationship, and concern for one another.

It was started by Mrs. Charles in 1980 and continues

to be the center feature of our club.

We have honored many of our senior Cornerstone members,

making it possible for them to "smell their flowers"

now, while they live.
