Worship Staff

Shelton Quiller, an educator at heart spreads the gospel through music in the classroom, the sanctuary, and wherever else god calls him to be. His music ministry experiences spans up and down the east coast and his love for god's people spans around the world. He has played for, worked with and shared the stage with artist such as Jonathan Nelson, Aretha Franklin, and Lee Williams to name a few. As a graduate of the New School for jazz & contemporary music, Mr.Quiller serves as the director of worship and art at Cornerstone Baptist Church and is also head of the music department at the Trey Whitfield School.

Praise Team

A ministry dedicated to being examples of Christ and lifting up the name of Jesus Christ through praise and worship. The Praise team has a love for the Lord and the congregation. They minister in songs from their heart.

The praise team meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM-9PM in the church sanctuary.

The Heavenly Praise Dancers

The Heavenly Praise Dancers Liturgical Dance Ministry began, March 1996 under the direction of Diane Nathaniel. Chatarra Hamlett is the Asst. Director of the dance ministry and there are 20 members who serve the Lord with gladness. The Bible says to "Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The Lord". The ministry believes this verse with all of its heart. Ministering through dance to bring souls to Christ is the purpose and all those who minister have answered the call. For as long as we can, we will serve the Lord and through dance we will deliver his message.

The Heavenly Praise Dancers meet weekly on Friday evenings from 7PM - 9PM in the church sanctuary.

Children's Church

Children’s Church is a place at Cornerstone where children can worship God in their own way.
Worship and praise time – children learn and sing fun and worshipful songs to Jesus
Bible study – a fun and meaningful way where children get actively involved
Prayer time – children reflect on what they have learned and thank God through prayer and reflection

Ushers

The Cornerstone ushers meets the congregation and visitors with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome, and directs them to comfortable seats. They assure that perfect order is kept in and around the church at all times during the services.

Nurses Unit

Cornerstone Nurses Unit is a group of health care workers who are appointed to look out for the safety and well-being of church members in matters related to health when attending church services. This includes rending first aid and emergency care to injured or ill individuals.
